Affiliate Future offers flexible tracking options including server-to-server, first-party cookie tracking, and integration with Google Tag Manager and various eCommerce platforms, either directly or via third-party tools.

How Tracking Works:

Joining and Receiving a Tracking Link:

A publisher joins an advertiser’s program and receives a tracking link. This link contains the affiliateID, merchantID, programmeID, and the publisher's custom tracking parameters.

User Clicks on the Tracking Link:

When a user clicks the link, it first goes to our server. We then redirect them to the advertiser’s site, adding an extra parameter (affc) to the URL.

Capturing the affc Value:

To track effectively, the advertiser needs to capture the affc value using a first-party cookie, HTTP cookie, or server-side method.

Recording a Sale:

When a sale is made, the advertiser sends the mandatory variables (MerchantID, OrderValue, OrderRef) and optional ones (Payout Codes, Voucher, Currency, Product) along with the affc value to our system. This ensures the publisher gets credited for the sale.

Setup Guides:

To set up tracking on the advertiser’s site, we provide detailed guides for the following methods:

  • Server-to-Server

  • Google Tag Manager

  • Shopify

These guides will help you implement the necessary tracking to ensure accurate and reliable performance tracking for your affiliate programme.
